Participants

The Echo-Net-Train project is a collaboration between three organisations:

  • the European Net-Trainers' Association - a trans-national vocational education and training consortium promoting the use of e-learning
  • the European Cultural Heritage Organisation Network - ECHONET - an affiliation of museums and cultural heritage organisations across Europe
  • the Open College of the North West (OCNW) - a British Qualifications & Currriculum Authority (QCA) - approved national awarding body based in the north west of England

Aims

The Echo-Net-Train project aims to develop a credit transfer platform and a sound, lasting and active partnership between the ECHONET and NET-TRAINERS, supported by the advice and guidance of the OCNW. This work will be carried out through:

  1. a pilot of experimental actions that support transnational co-operation in credit transfer
  2. research, evaluation and dissemination that ensures that real lessons are learnt and broadcast during the project that make a positive and lasting contribution to the development of a robust system and structure for European Credits for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET)
